Manny Pacquiao Leaving Philippines On Sunday To Start Training For Joshua Clottey

Manny "pacman" Pacquiao, Pound-for-pound king, 7-times different weight division-world champion, and a reigning WBO welterweight champion is scheduled on leaving the home place (Philippines) this coming Sunday, Philippine time.  Manny Pacquiao will going to have his training in the Wild Card Gym in US to fight the number one contender Joshua Clottey for his WBO title. The Pacquiao-Clottey fight will be at 147-lbs but there is a rumor that Pacquiao's camp will push a 145-lbs catch-weight. What I have early in my previous post with the statement from Pacquiao's Coach Freddie Roach that there is no catch-weight and that what's already reflected in their fight contract. There is no confirmation yet from the officials if the catch-weight will be impost.


Manny Pacquiao has 50 wins, 3 loses , 2 draws with 38 knockouts will going to defend his WBO title against the Ghana's challenger Joshua Clottey with 35 wins and 3 loses with 20 Knockouts. Clottey believes that Pacquiao has picked his good match and it is his great opportunity to fight the greatest fighter like Manny Pacquiao. Joshua Clottey is lucky to have Manny Pacquiao for his getting biggest payday for his career since he started. According to Clottey's manager, this is the first time Clottey will get a great offer in his boxing career and this will be real when he decided to challenge Manny Pacquiao on March 13, 2010 live at Dallas' Cowboy Stadium, Arlington, Texas. Joshua Clottey said that he will going to fight Pacquiao with his all power until the last bell.
